The G.R.O. Foundation welcomed Mr. Darryl Perry the CEO of OHAfrica during his recent visit to Lesotho in March 2009. G.R.O. project partners and students demonstrated Basotho cultural dances for Darryl and the Canadian team of physicians, nurse clinicians and nurses working at Tsepong HIV/AIDS Clinic in Lesotho. It was a great party and our G.R.O. partners were honored to welcome Mr. Perry and collegues.
OHAfrica operates and supports Tsepong HIV/AIDS Clinic in Leribe, Lesotho in partnership with the Lesotho Ministry of Health. This important clinic is considered a center of excellence for HIV/AIDS treatment and serves over 10,000 HIV positive Basotho. OHAfrica has been a strong supporter of The G.R.O. Foundation and through our Memorandum of Understanding with OHAfrica, we are able to issue Canadians with charitable tax receipts. Learn more about OHAfrica at www.ohafrica.ca.
G.R.O. also congratulates James White, founder of The G.R.O. Foundation who is now the Acting Project Leader for OHAfrica in Lesotho.
The G.R.O. Foundation would like to send its thanks to our friends and partners in Canada who make our work in Lesotho possible.
